The Waterfront Blues Festival is an outstanding event hosted by the Oregon Food Bank during the week of the 4th of July. Each year, the event gets bigger and better with big-name artists and amazing community-based donations. At the center of the event is great performances by blues musicians from around the world.
We partnered with a local designer from Silver-Logic to integrate their design into Oregon Food Banks existing content management system.
With simple goals and a mission to serve, the Oregon Food Bank was looking for a website that matched their annual entertainment festival. The site needed to showcase the amazing artists as well as inform the public of the extensive schedule.
Social media and sponsorship was also a big goal that needed to be tackled.
Throughout its history, the festival has raised millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of pounds of food. Grey Ghost was happy to be able provide our expertise in hopes of helping the Oregon Food Bank execute on their vision and grow the event.
The solution was built onto an existing Sitecore implementation enabling the authors the ability to easily replace content year to year and keep the site looking fresh. From schedules to artists and venues to sponsors, each section of the site was engineered for reuse and quick updates.
